Fallen Cheif Review
Boardfeel:
I'm gonna start off by saying that these shoes have vulcanized soles, which mean the sole is glued onto the shoe instead of stitched. The point of vulcanized shoes is to have better boardfeel and grip than cup soles. With that being said, I can say that these shoes had fantastic boardfeel! I can completely feel the board under my feet and I can feel where the concave is. Had the best boardfeel out of all my shoes. A huge strong point of this shoe.
Grip:
As I stated in the boardfeel section, vulcanized shoes usually have better boardfeel than cup sole shoes, and these shoes had very good grip. When i first slipped them on in my house and started walking up the stairs, I could feel these shoes stick to the floor, after that i knew these shoes would have good grip. But like all shoes, the grip wore away, you can see in the picture i posted that there is a hole to my sock and i rip a sock every time i skate them ( which I don't anymore because i got new shoes). The grip on these shoes was great while it lasted
Durability:
These shoes weren't to durable, but they still did last me 4 months of skating everyday so i was still really happy with these shoes. I cant say too much about the toe of this shoes because I just started rolling my foot for kickflip around 3 weeks before I stopped skating these shoes, but the sole lasted me a okay to pretty good time. These shoe started to seem really durable since they have no signs of wear on the toe or sole for a looong time. Then the durability just dropped and they shoes started wearing and ripping like hell. These shoes had okay durability
Comfort/Impact Support:
Like most Vulcanized shoes, these didn't have too much padding equal a low amount of comfort and impact support. So these shoes are not to good for skaters who do big sets and you will definitely bruise your heels, but if your a tech skater then these shoe should be fine. This was one of the only things I didn't like about these shoes, meaning i loved these shoes and they are probably the best out of all i had, ( between these and Hermans, but probably Hermans.) |
